energizing teas
Tea is loaded with energizing nutrients that can help recharge, refuel and reset mind and body. Teas from the tea plant are loaded with polyphenols, vitamins and minerals and also contain varying amounts of caffeine. Caffeine in teas tends to work in a more gentle, gradual fashion than coffee or other stimulants. Many people love that tea can give you a lift that feels more natural without the coffee jitters. A few teas in our wellness line offer tea and botanical combos that are designed to uplift. Black tea has most caffeine, but green teas can provide quite a nice kick. We find that raw pu-erh teas (of the tea plant) tend to have an excellent energizing effect. Yerba Mate is a famous stimulating tea that contains more caffeine than nearly any other tea but also contains other stimulants that are gentle on mind and body. While caffeine free, some find a gentle lift from tulsi herb teas and other herbals because of re-hydration and many are loaded with essential nutrients.
