Antioxidants are substances and nutrients in our foods which can prevent or slow the oxidative damage to our body. Yerba mate contains 24 vitamins and minerals, 15 amino acids, and 11 polyphenols, a group of phytochemicals which act as powerful antioxidants. Tulsi Herb is known to contain powerful antioxidants and has been recently shown to have higher amount of antioxidants than Broccoli and Tomatoes. So even in the world of herbal teas, antioxidant are teas icing on the cake. So indulge and enjoy a drink that is as good for you as it tastes.
